A German Play

Early last month I was reading Ronald Schimmelpfennig's Arabian Night and I found his style pretty interesting. Harriet must be knowing about him as a couple of his plays have already been performed at the Royal Court. It has been performed in India also by Khoj and somebody in Mumbai...

I saw A Woman Before at the RCT last year. It was impressive -- experimented with time -- very powerful and unexpected ending, based on Greek tragedy (so I'm told...).
David Harrower is highly regarded here but I have not read or seen anything of his.

Hey,
Liked Arabian Night, too, but just one problem. Didn't any of you find it a wee bit racist? As I read it I found all the orientalist assumptions from Schiller's time come swooping back on me...
Though I must admit it helped me get my writing on track. Thanks a ton, Swar, for that!
